In the Medina of Fés

Fés is a city like no other I’ve ever seen. It’s old, really old. The ‘Medina’ is the walled part of the city that dates back to the 9th century. It’s amazing to see buildings still standing as they were from that time hundreds of years ago. The labyrinth of alleyways and streets offers so many great sketching opportunities – like this one. A small square emerged after walking through closed narrow streets and for the first time our group so a clear view of sky that morning.
